AtomicTelephone - Privacy Policy
The AtomicTelephone Privacy Policy uses Google’s Privacy Policy as a base, and builds upon it.
AtomicTelephone handles your data (Voice messages (in audio & transcribed form), text messages, and phone number), and does processing on it for analysis to improve University services.
Identifying Information:
Identifying information (your phone number), post Google, is encrypted via the SHA-256 hash, when it is stored for use in analysis by the University.
Identifying information is only left in a more unencrypted state on Google’s end, and can only be viewed by higher technical administration personnel involved in the running of the University’s software - AtomicTelephone.
Your Data:
Your data is not used for any purposes outside of localized analysis of concerns provided by calling or leaving messages in order to better serve the student body.
Your audio data is not saved long-term at the University, but may be saved temporarily for transcription purposes, and are deleted immediately after use.

Use of Data:
Data is used solely for localized analysis of concerns shared by students through AtomicTelephone, to improve University services, and student outreach.
AtomicTelephone does not sell, rent, or otherwise share your personal data.
Data may be shared only under the following limited circumstances:
With authorized University personnel conducting approved research or analysis.
With Google, solely to the extent required for service operation.
When required by law, subpoena, or University policy compliance.
Storage & Processing:
Audio messages may be temporarily processed for transcription and not permanently stored by the University.
Text transcripts and phone numbers are encrypted and stored only for analysis.
Only authorized technical administrators of the University, who are directly involved in the operation of AtomicTelephone, may access data in an identifiable form.
Retention & Deletion:
Data is retained only as long as necessary for analysis, after which it is securely deleted.
Users may request deletion of their messages at any time by connecting with the University’s contact(s) - see below.
Third-Party Processing:
Google provides back-end services (storage and transcription) under its own Privacy Policy and acts as a data processor.
